We pride ourselves on delivering professional and reliable security solutions. We seek a dedicated, vigilant, full-time armed security guard to join our team at a warehouse.
Position Overview: As an armed security guard, you will be assigned to a warehouse in Leland, NC. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong oral communication skills and the ability to use effective conflict resolution techniques, if necessary. While on duty, you will provide a visible presence while maintaining a professional and courteous image.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the assigned area to deter and detect security breaches, fire hazards, and safety risks.
- Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Enforce access control policies, checking identification and credentials as necessary.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports, documenting all activities and incidents that occur during your shift and review with management.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
- Follow company and site-specific security procedures and guidelines.
***$500.00 Sign-on Bonus***
Pay:
- Starting at $20.00 per hour
Schedule :
- Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Experience with a handgun is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background check/criminal history
- Must possess a smartphone with an active cellular data plan
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time
