Role Overview
Piedmont Protective Services is seeking a highly organized and dependable Scheduling Coordinator to join our office team. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining employee schedules, tracking staff availability, communicating scheduling updates, and helping ensure all client staffing needs are met.
The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with employees, supervisors, and office personnel to support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This is an in-office position with a Monday through Friday schedule.

- Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create, publish, and maintain employee schedules to ensure all client sites remain properly staffed.
- Communicate schedules and schedule changes to employees and obtain confirmations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of employee availability and scheduling preferences.
- Coordinate coverage for call-outs, tardiness, and other staffing changes during regular business hours.
- Enter and maintain employee information within the guard management system.
- Work collaboratively with office staff to support daily operational needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and scheduling records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous scheduling, dispatching, administrative, or workforce coordination experience preferred.
- Experience in the private security industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Professional telephone etiquette and office demeanor.
- Must maintain confidentiality due to the nature of the business.
Must successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
