At Piedmont Protective Services, we are committed to delivering top-tier security solutions with integrity, professionalism, and reliability. We are currently seeking a full-time Training & Compliance Officer based in the Charlotte, NC area.
Role Overview
As the Training & Compliance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing security officer training and ensuring company-wide compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This position plays a critical role in maintaining workforce readiness, operational consistency, and accountability across all assigned sites.
You will work closely with leadership and operations to ensure all personnel meet required training standards, documentation requirements, and licensing regulations.
Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide instruction for company training programs, including:
- NC PPSB Unarmed and Armed Training
- SC SLED Unarmed and Armed Training
- Refresher and recertification courses
- Ensure all employees meet training, licensing, and certification requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training and compliance records
- Generate compliance reports and provide updates to leadership
- Support field operations and supervisors with compliance-related issues
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in security operations, training, or compliance preferred
- Strong knowledge of NC PPSB and/or SC SLED regulations preferred
- Experience with firearms, including safe handling, operation, and marksmanship
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must successfully pass a background/criminal history check
